Finding location of dropshipper. Where/whom an item or product was dropshipped. Address, Co name, etc?

If I am a customer and order something from someone that uses a dropshipper, how can I find out where/who actually shipped the item. I know people send their invoice/packing slip to the dropshipper to hide who the product is truly coming from.





I am trying to find out where some of our competitors that use dropshippers are getting their products from. Can you do reverse address lookup, use special tracking functions, get chummy with the UPS driver or what?





Thanks everyone!|||The city and state of the shipper is available from the shipper's detailed tracking information - it always shows where (and when) the item was picked up. Beyond that, you may want to check if the actual address is available ... something that could obviously vary by carrier.
